Mina Doade moves forward in its administrative process after the closure of the public information period

Following the closure of the public information period for the exploitation concession application, the Mina Doade project enters a new administrative stage.

Recursos Minerales de Galicia, S.A., the company promoting the lithium and feldspar extraction project in Beariz (Ourense), will now analyse the submissions received together with the sectoral reports issued by various public bodies. Based on this review, the company will provide responses to each submission and assess the observations and technical proposals that may contribute to improving the project.

In recent weeks, the project was subject to public consultation. The Mina Doade technical team is now preparing to carefully examine all contributions, respond comprehensively, and take into account those of a technical and scientific nature that can strengthen the project’s design.

Commitment to transparency

All information relating to the project is available on the Mina Doade transparency portal, which provides full access to the exploitation concession application file.

The documentation submitted by Recursos Minerales de Galicia exceeds 8,700 pages, organised into more than one hundred documents. It is the result of multidisciplinary work carried out in areas such as engineering, geology, chemistry, environment, economics, law and sociology.
