Mina Doade, the underground mining project for extraction of lithium and feldspar minerals in Beariz (Ourense), is launching its citizen engagement and listening process aimed at achieving social recognition and obtaining the corresponding Operating Permit. The process is being conducted with the highest possible level of information sharing and involvement of all interested parties, to ensure the project is carried out with maximum guarantees.
Recursos Minerales de Galicia, S.A., the company promoting Mina Doade, is committed to an open and transparent communication approach with the community, actively involving it in the project’s progress and data. To this end, a Public Participation and Communication Plan is being implemented, aiming to involve institutions, individuals, and social and economic stakeholders in the project. It includes both physical and online participation channels to gather opinions and suggestions from citizens and other interested parties. Through citizen participation, transparency and open communication, the aim is to create an environment in which all stakeholders can collaborate and contribute to the project’s success. The Beariz region can rest assured that its voices will be heard and its concerns addressed throughout this entire process.
