At Recusos Minerales de Galicia, we believe that Mina Doade should maintain an open transparent approach with the community, promoting open communication with the public and resolving any doubts or conflicts regarding the project.
We want all stakeholders to have access to truthful, clear, and updated information about the mining project.
The goal is to create a communication relationship with the public interested in or having questions about the project. The participation process also includes citizen recommendations to improve the mining project from social environmental perspective.

INFORMATION PROCESS
Recursos Minerales de Galicia believes that all public information about Mina Doade should be presented directly and openly. For this purpose, the project’s website has been made available, displaying clear and updated data.
Additionally, both physical and online participation channels have been established to collect suggestions from citizens and those interested in the mining project.
Recursos Minerales de Galicia held meetings with the local governments of the involved communities to update them on the progress of Mina Doade and organized public meetings to ensure the flow of information and transparency throughout the process.

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION AND LISTENING
The citizen participation process has been led by an external company following a rigorous, standardised methodology adapted from international standards.
The listening team met with community representatives during the last quarter of 2024 and held in-person citizen consultation meetings in the municipalities of Beariz, Avión, Forcarei, A Lama and Cerdedo-Cotobade.
